Co-Parenting Courses Options

by | Apr 28, 2024 | Firm News

Many courts require that parties in cases involving children complete a co-parenting course, which is a course designed to provide parents with tips on co-parenting their children.  Some courts have a pre-approved list of courses they will accept, while other courts will accept any co-parenting course.

Below is a list of courses that are accepted in most Galveston County, Brazoria County, and Harris County courts:

Texas Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course

Parenting Choices

Court Approved Parenting and Divorce Class

Texas Cooperative Parenting Course

Kids First Co-Parenting Class

On-Line Parenting Class

Life Matters Parenting Class

Between Two Homes

Positive Parenting Through Divorce

Helping Children After Divorce

Court Approved Parenting Classes and Co Parenting Classes – Online Classes (puttingkidsfirst.org)
* This course is preferred by Brazoria County courts.

IMPORTANT: After you complete your co-parenting course, send your Certificate of Completion to your attorney to file with the court. The course providers do not send your completion certificate to the courts directly, so the court will be unaware that you have completed the course unless the completion certificate is filed by your attorney.
